DJI Care Refresh: Service Protection
DJI Care Refresh is the service protection for your drone that offers you two equipment replacements within a year for a small additional fee. It covers damages resulting from collisions, water contact, and more. If your equipment gets damaged, it will be replaced with a new or equivalent one. The service can be activated within 48 hours of drone activation (first power-on) or later by submitting verification video material to DJI. You can also extend the coverage by purchasing an additional annual plan (up to two times, totaling up to 3 years). Furthermore, the official manufacturer warranty remains valid throughout the service period.

For Mavic Mini series drones, the cost of each replacement under DJI Care Refresh is 200 PLN.*
*The replacement cost may vary based on current currency exchange rates when filing a direct claim with the manufacturer.
Activating DJI Care Refresh
1. Activate the code at: https://support.dji.com/care/active.
2. During activation, provide the Care Refresh code, device’s serial number (located on the product), and user’s information (name, email address).
3. The Service Plan will be activated and assigned to the appropriate region. Confirmation of DJI Care Refresh activation will be sent via email. Your drone is now secure!
Additionally, DJI Care Refresh can be assigned to a product after the initial 48-hour activation period by submitting a verification video demonstrating the device’s condition to the manufacturer. In Case of an Accident
The procedure for handling accidents is straightforward. Just report the issue and send the damaged equipment to DJI’s warranty service, mentioning your DJI Care Refresh coverage. After receiving the repair estimate, you can choose whether to proceed with paid repair/exchange or use the Service Plan. Opting for the latter requires paying the applicable fee, and you’ll receive a replacement device with priority shipping. If you’re in the same region where DJI Care Refresh was purchased, the manufacturer covers the shipping cost!
1. User reports the malfunction and sends the drone to DJI’s German service with a note about DJI Care Refresh coverage.
2. User receives a repair estimate and decides whether to proceed with paid repair/exchange or utilize DJI Care Refresh.
3. Opting for DJI Care Refresh, the user pays the fee for the replacement and receives either a different unit or new replacement parts such as gimbals, cameras, propellers.
4. The replaced product is sent to the user with priority shipping at no additional cost.
Cases Covered by DJI Care Refresh
By obtaining DJI Care Refresh, you protect your drone from scenarios including falling, water damage, collision, and signal interference-related accidents. DJI Care Refresh also covers accidents caused by operator error.

Exclusions from DJI Care Refresh
1) Lost or partially lost drones, gimbals, or accessories.
2) Theft or abandonment of the product.
3) Damages caused by flying in inappropriate weather conditions.
4) Transmitter and additional accessories.
5) Deliberate loss of the drone.
6) Cosmetic damages that don’t affect the product’s functionality.
7) Direct or indirect damages caused by force majeure.
8) Malfunctions occurring after the DJI Care Refresh coverage expires.
9) Additional charges related to model upgrades or performance improvements.
10) Damages resulting from unauthorized modifications or using incompatible batteries and chargers.
11) Damages resulting from using unauthorized accessories, batteries, or software.
Extension Option*
Users also have the option to extend coverage up to a maximum of 3 years by purchasing an additional annual plan.
- If you have an annual DJI Care Refresh plan, you can extend protection twice by purchasing 2 additional annual plans: annual plan + annual plan + annual plan.
- If you have a 2-year plan, you can extend protection once by purchasing one annual plan: 2-year plan + annual plan.
Note: It is not possible to extend coverage by purchasing an additional 2-year plan.
To be eligible for the extension, specific conditions must be met:
- Purchase DJI Care Refresh service in one of the following options: DJI Care Refresh annual plan / DJI Care Refresh 2-year plan / DJI Care Refresh annual plan and DJI Care Refresh + / DJI Care Refresh annual plan and additional annual plan (renewal).
- The validity period of the purchased DJI Care Refresh service has not expired or has expired within 15 days.
