14-day return policy

According to the Law of Obligations Act, a consumer may withdraw from a contract concluded by means of distance communication within 14 days. In the case of goods ordered from Digitehnika OÜ’s e-shop, the time limit starts from the day the goods are delivered to the consumer. A consumer is a natural person who has purchased goods or services from Digitehnika OÜ’s e-shop that are not related to his/her economic or professional activity.

By making a purchase from Digitehnika OÜ’s e-shop, the consumer agrees to the following terms and conditions for exercising the right of return:

1. The product to be returned must be complete (include the product package and all items included in the product package – cables, etc.). In the event of deterioration of the item to be returned, the Consumer shall be liable for the depreciation of the item due to the use of the item only if he has used the item in a way other than that necessary to ascertain its nature, characteristics and functioning. In order to ascertain the nature, characteristics and functioning of an article, the Consumer should handle and use the article only as he would normally be allowed to do in a shop.

The consumer must open the original packaging of the product carefully and without damaging it. If the packaging is not openable, the product to be returned does not have to be in the original packaging.

2. In order to exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must submit a withdrawal request in free form to Digitehnika OÜ e-shop at info@digitehnika.ee no later than 14 days after receipt of the goods.

3. The consumer undertakes to bear the costs of returning the goods.

4. In the event of withdrawal from the contract, the consumer must return the purchased goods without delay, but not later than 14 days after the notice of withdrawal.

5. Digitehnika OÜ undertakes to refund the amount paid for the returned goods to the consumer without delay, but not later than 14 days after receiving the notice of withdrawal from the contract, provided that the consumer has returned the goods within the same period, i.e. within 14 days.

6. The 14-day right of return does not apply to subsequent goods:

– products tailored to the personal needs of the customer
– audio and video recordings and Digital Goods the envelope of which has been opened by the consumer.
– sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons, if the packaging is opened after delivery.


If the customer orders goods from the e-shop and wishes to come to the Digitehnika OÜ store, then at the moment of delivery and receipt of the goods, he/she has the opportunity to familiarize himself/herself with the ordered goods and, if necessary, ask the seller additional questions about the goods. We strongly recommend that you do this so that you can be sure that the goods you order will meet your needs and expectations. If the ordered goods are not suitable for the customer, the customer has the right to cancel the order and Digitehnika OÜ will immediately, but not later than within 14 days, refund to the customer’s account the full amount paid for the order.

Guarantee conditions

Digitehnika e-shop provides a manufacturer’s warranty for the goods sold. The guarantee gives the buyer the right to request repair or replacement free of charge during the guarantee period. The warranty is valid on the territory of the Republic of Estonia.

The warranty covers the cost of repairing defects in the equipment caused by defects in design, workmanship and materials, and by these defects.

The guarantee period starts from the time of delivery of the goods to the buyer and lasts until the period specified by the manufacturer.

The warranty will be invalidated if the appliance is found to have been subjected to operational faults and physical damage as a result of accidental or deliberate physical damage or if foreign objects, liquids, insects, excessive dust, cigarette ash, smoke, etc., have entered the interior of the appliance. by.

– Your computer comes with a 24-month sales guarantee*;

– laptops are covered by a 12-24 month sales guarantee*;

THE SALES GUARANTEE DOES NOT COVER:

– packaging, documentation, consumables (e.g. mouse mats), licences, software and installation media;

– an assembled desktop computer whose warranty sticker has been broken by the consumer. In this case, only the 24-month period to lodge a complaint applies;

– malfunctions of the product caused by accidental or intentional damage by the user;

– malfunctions in the functioning of the appliance caused by modifications to the technical characteristics of the appliance carried out by a person or by a service which has not been certified by the manufacturer;

– operational malfunctions caused by non-observance of the instructions for use of the product;

– errors caused by the software;

– laptop cleaning;

– training in the use of the equipment;

– malfunctions caused by the use of the product in an environment not intended for that purpose. This also includes computer parts incorrectly handled by the customer or third parties;

– malfunctions caused by lightning or other natural phenomena (force majeure);

– malfunctions caused by connecting your computer or other equipment to an improper electrical outlet (including an ungrounded outlet);

– malfunctions of the product caused by the interconnection of live equipment;

– malfunctions caused by software installed in the product by the customer;

– computer malfunctions caused by the customer’s failure to comply with the parameters set by the manufacturer for the computer components;

– malfunctions and physical injuries caused by the use of non-original parts or inappropriate accessories;

– products and parts for which the serial numbers, control stickers or markings have been damaged, replaced or removed;

– an assembled desktop computer that has been resold to another consumer (the owner of the computer has changed).

DIGITEHNIKA.EE E-SHOP IS NOT RESPONSIBLE:

– for the preservation of information on the equipment when it is brought in for repair, or if data or software on the computer is damaged or corrupted during the warranty repair. It is the customer’s responsibility to back up their data;

– for failure to remedy defects in the product if the defect did not occur during the warranty repair and its occurrence was not recorded when the product was brought in for warranty repair;

– malfunctions caused by accidental or intentional damage to the product caused by the user;

– malfunctions in the operation of the appliance caused by modifications to the technical characteristics of the appliance carried out by a person or service not authorised by the manufacturer.

During the warranty period granted by the manufacturer/seller to the goods, the customer may submit a complaint to digitehnika.ee e-shop about the circumstances preventing the intended use or storage of the goods, which are caused by defects in the quality of the goods. The period for lodging a complaint starts from the date of purchase of the goods. The basis for the claim is the sales invoice for the product.

The consumer’s complaint will be dealt with in accordance with the legislation in force. The complaint must be submitted in Estonian and describe the defect in the product as clearly as possible.

The consumer’s complaint will not be settled if digitehnika.ee e-shop proves that the defects in the use of the goods were caused by the consumer. In such a case, digitehnika.ee e-shop has the right to invoice the customer for the performed diagnostics according to the valid price list.

Costs incurred in connection with equipment brought in for unwarranted servicing (unless the failure is caused by a manufacturer’s defect or a breach of the product warranty) shall be borne by the buyer. In such a case, digitehnika.ee e-shop has the right to invoice the customer for the work performed so far in accordance with the current price list.

If the product cannot be repaired or its production has been discontinued, digitehnika.ee e-shop reserves the right (with the customer’s consent) to replace the product with an equivalent one.

Repairing the device does not extend the warranty period. The replacement computer will not be made available to the consumer during the repair.

Depending on the circumstances, a warranty repair can take from 3 working days to 8 weeks.
